Dancing Alone - Framed

This is an original limited edition silk screen individually printed by hand and painted from 'life'. Lis worked with an incredible performing arts student called 'Danni' who needed to earn extra cash to support herself through university. They spent 6 hours creating a series of 5 paintings (at least 80 were discarded).
Lis painted using Indian ink and a long thin rigger brush, frentectically painting with her whole body with gestural strokes. 5 images were selected to be exposed onto a silk screen and hand printed on 320gsm cartridge paper or Fabriano Paper to ensure longevity. Part of a series.
